Providing Help ~ Creating Hope because of YOU...

Catholic Charities is the social service arm of the Diocese of Winona, which is comprised of the twenty southernmost counties of Minnesota. The programs of Catholic Charities provide help and create hope for thousands of people throughout southern Minnesota. Its programs include Family and Individual Counseling; Pregnancy, Parenting and Adoption; Adoption; Post Adoption; Project Rachel; Guardian and Conservatorship Services; Medication Application Services (MediAppS); Common Good Retired and Senior Volunteer Program; Parish Social Ministry; and Refugee Resettlement. Each year the staff and volunteers of Catholic Charities help children, families in crisis, vulnerable adults and seniors, immigrants, refugees, the poor, and the unborn - regardless of age, faith tradition, ethnic background, or ability to pay. In fiscal year 2016, Catholic Charities served over 4509 persons living in over 2035 households. Of those households where the annual income was known, 59% of them had incomes at or below $25,000.
